More flights from Europe during high tourism season
Air Caraibes and Air Europa both announced that they will increase the number of flights from Paris and Madrid to Santo Domingo and Punta Cana in the upcoming months.
The announcement was made by the Dominican Minister of Tourism, Francisco Javier Garcia, during the recently held International Tourism Fair in Paris (Top Resa 2013).
Minister Garcia explained that beginning in October Air Caraibes will increase its number of flights from two to five in the Paris-Santo Domingo route.
Air Caraibes currently has regularly scheduled flights on Fridays and Tuesdays between Paris and Santo Domingo’s international airport.
He also confirmed that Air Europa will increase the number of flights between Madrid/Santo Domingo and Punta Cana.
Air Europa currently operates seven weekly flights between Madrid and Santo Domingo, and three from Madrid and Punta Cana.
